Back in October, we got to meet two of the kindest, most joy-filled people we’ve ever photographed — Saira and Davie.
We had reached out to them on a whim while we were in California, just asking if they’d want to do a session. A few texts later, we met them on the shoreline of Coronado Beach for what ended up being one of the most meaningful evenings we’ve ever documented.
It was our very first time traveling for photography. Everything about the trip felt new — unfamiliar and exciting. But meeting Saira and Davie grounded us in the best way. They welcomed us with open arms and the kind of warmth that immediately made us feel like we’d known them forever.
Throughout the session, we could feel their love — not just for each other, but for the Lord!!!!! There was a steady peace in the way they moved together, a quiet joy that overflowed from every moment. Photographing them didn’t feel like work at all. It felt like worship. It felt like gratitude. It felt like being exactly where we were meant to be.
As the sun set, we captured the softest, most glowy images — the kind you can’t really plan for, just receive. And we truly believe God had His hand over the whole thing.
This session reminded us why we do what we do — not just to take beautiful photos, but to connect with people who radiate love, faith, and truth. Saira and Davie were that and more.
It’s a session we’ll always hold close to our hearts!!!
